Much of what we learn from public libraries can be described as "successes" or "best practices" or "hip hip hooray, it went well!" But so much can be learned from the things we don't really want to brag about, the challenges, the stuff we "should've known," and the "oops!"
Here's where you come in.
Get in touch with us and tell us what one librarian called his "stupid moment," that time when you realized the folly in your ways, and knew right then and there you'd never do it again. And that's the kicker: we're trying to capture those "never do it again" moments that can help someone else. The more of those stories we share, the more "stupid moments" we can alleviate. Wouldn't that be great?
So do something for your colleagues--tell us what you've learned from your mistakes. Who knows, maybe someone will share something that'll curb your next "stupid moment!"
